The mix of electronic and acoustic instruments used in key scenes softens the sterile atmosphere of the laboratory setting. The editing rhythm fulfills the requirements of romantic comedy while slowing the pace in some scientific explanation scenes. The production design realistically reflects Stanford University laboratories, and this detail greatly contributes to the story's credibility.

One behind-the-scenes story is that Lili Reinhart attended actual biology classes and learned laboratory techniques for the role. The actress reached a level where she could perform PCR analysis during filming. Tom Bateman, due to his character's Danish origins, received special language coaching for the Danish dialogues used in several scenes. During the film's shooting, real scientists served as consultants and meticulous research was conducted on the details of the academic world. An interesting detail is the purple notebook constantly visible in the right pocket of Olive's lab coat; this was inspired by a real object from Ali Hazelwood's own doctoral days.

The Love Hypothesis is a quality representative of the smart romantic comedy genre that Turkish audiences have become familiar with in recent years thanks to Netflix and digital platforms.
